The Autism & Behavioral Support Center’s
number one goal is to assist your child with the remediation
of the core deficits of autism. In order to do this, parents
need to understand what this means in the form of their commitment.
The best plan that can be written is one that you are willing
to follow and that you are committed to. This commitment includes:
- Lifestyle changes – turning everyday moments into
a therapeutic opportunity.
- Dramatically increasing the use of declarative communication.
- Making videos of your work at home on a regular basis.
- Gradually reducing the amount of “screen time”
for your child. This includes TV, computers, videos, Game
Boys, Xboxes, etc.
- Letting us know how it is going!
The staff at the Autism & Behavioral Support Center are here
to help you and guide you along the way. We cannot do this
alone; but with your help, the result will be the best possible
progress in the shortest amount of time.
As a nonprofit organization, the Autism & Behavioral
Support Center is able to offer rates that are dramatically
lower than other organizations for RDI® and Neurofeedback
Services.
